Creative Spark Summer 2014 Reveal and Blog Hop

I hope your Fourth of July festivities were a blast!! Now for another reason to celebrate. . .the reveal of Creative Spark Summer 2014!!

For this issue, we decided to focus on our cultured sea glass. The participating design team members were asked to select two colors from the many shades available. In addition to those colors, they received sea glass beads and pendants in surprise hues. The task was to create designs appropriate for Summer Days (casual) and designs for Summer Night (dressy) with the cultured sea glass. Are you ready to see what they came up with? Here you go!

 

Since we included so many designers in this issue of Creative Spark, we kept their pictures and descriptions to a minimum in order to fit everyone in the pages and give you as much eye candy as possible. With that in mind, we asked the designers to also post about their designs today as part of a blog hop for the reveal. On the Cover of Bead-It. . .Today

If you look on the lower right corner of the newest issue of Bead-It. . .Today magazine, you'll see some earrings with sea glass beads in them. These earrings were designed by Cindy Cima Edwards, one of our Design Team members!

Those earrings are in fact part of a set that includes quite a few ZnetShows beads. Cindy used some of our Chinese crystal rondelles, bling balls, and cultured sea glass rounds in the set.

We're so excited to have some of our cultured sea glass and other beads in this new magazine and even more excited for Cindy being featured. Congrats Cindy and thanks!!

Our Sea Glass Rings in Beadwork Magazine

Design Team member, Christina Miles, took some of our sea glass rings and made them sing with her amazing beadwork skills. In fact, Christina's sea glass designs were featured in Beadwork's special Quick and Easy Issue of their magazine.

This was Christina's first time being published and we couldn't be happier for her. Congratulations Christina!

Baby Conch Designs (part 2)

After showing off our newest Babies (baby conchs that is) on our ZnetShows Facebook page, we had a great response from our fans. In turn, we decided to package up some mini samples of the little guys and surprise those who had "liked'" the photos. The catch? We wanted to see what they made. . .and soon! We haven't been disappointed. Check out what these individuals were able to create with our beach glass beads.
